In Loving Memory of Tara Lynn DeRogatis

Tara Lynn DeRogatis June 4, 1979 - March 23, 2010

We have lost a member of our family, our cousin Tara. God called her after only thirty years, but in her young life she was blessed to be talented, beautiful and loved by many. Tara was an artist and an adventurer with a curious mind, a big heart and a tremendous spirit who sought to explore and experience all life had to offer. Our thoughts, love and prayers are with her family and friends.

Life is too short

Break the rules

Forgive quickly

Kiss slowly

Love truly

Laugh uncontrollably

And never regret anything that made you smile

Life may not be the party we hoped for

But while we’re here we should dance

I miss her so much…this day is so hard…this life is so much harder without her in it. This world so much less beautiful! Nothing will ever be the same…she left her imprint on this world. She’s truely special

  2. Dear Michael, Susan, Kristi and Marc: Thank you for being such wonderful and loving cousins. Thanks for giving Tara a spot on your Tributes page. It will be a year on March 23, 2011. All four seasons have passed, all holidays are behind us, but we will have forever, all thirty years she gave us, all the memories, all those special moments. Some day we will see her again and she will be there to meet us with that beautiful smile. I can feel her hugs and welcoming spirit. She loved her family very much. Tara loved and lived life to the fullest and that is a testimony for all of us to continue to embrace life in all its layers and dimensions. Tara especially had a special heart for all animals and for those who were struggling. She actually had a blue box that she would fill each day with quarters. As she drove down Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, she often pulled over to give to the less fortunate. To all those she touched, you understand, to all those she should have touched this past year and all the years to come, you are left not knowing, not grasping what God may have intended for you by her touch. Those who will never know her, I am truly sorry. Tara was made in the image and likeness of GOD and loved God deeply. Tara LOVED life. That is the message she has left. As her mother, I know her more deeply than any person on earth. She made my life and her family’s life.
